Installation Guide

1. Download the Installer Click the link below to download the setup file.

   System Requirements

   FastCamino VPN requires Windows 10 or later.

2. Run the Setup Wizard Once downloaded, double-click the .msi file to launch the installer. Click “Next” to begin the installation process.

   

3. Install the TAP Driver The wizard will also install the TAP driver, which is a required network component for OpenVPN to function correctly. Click “Next” to proceed.

   

   Note

   If a Windows Security prompt appears asking if you want to install the driver, click “Install”.

4. Launch and Sign In After the installation is complete, open FastCamino VPN from your desktop or Start Menu. You will be prompted to enter your credentials.

   

5. Connect to a Server Choose your preferred server location from the list and click the CONNECT button.

   

   The app will establish a secure connection, and the button will change to DISCONNECT.

   

Settings Overview

Click the “settings” button in the app to open the settings panel. Here you can configure advanced options.

Connection

• OpenVPN Protocol:
  • UDP - Recommended: Provides the best balance of speed and performance.
  • TCP - Slower: More reliable on unstable networks but with a speed trade-off.
• DPI Protection: Helps bypass network restrictions that may block VPNs.
• SSL Tunnel: Masks VPN traffic to look like regular HTTPS traffic, adding another layer of stealth.

Network

• Force DNS: Ensures your traffic uses the secure FastCamino DNS servers.
• Kill Switch: Automatically blocks all internet traffic if the VPN connection is unexpectedly lost. This disables your network device to prevent data leaks.

  Important

  If the Kill Switch is triggered, you must manually re-enable your network adapter. You can do this by toggling the Kill Switch setting off and on within our app, or by going to your Windows Network & Internet settings in the Control Panel.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Can’t connect to servers?

• Check your internet connection.
• Try a different server location.
• Restart the app.
• In the settings, try switching between the UDP and TCP protocols.

App won’t launch?

• Make sure you’re running Windows 10 or later.
• Re-install the application.
• Contact support if issues persist.
